In 2015 Rounded Rhythm received funding from Arts Council England to run a 15 month research and development project into inclusive youth dance provision across Sussex. This project gave us the opportunity to run a wide-ranging programme of outreach workshops with schools, arts organisations and disability/youth groups across the county as well as three pilot youth dance companies which would pave the way for our now well-established groups. The project also included consultancy and building of strategic partnerships with key agencies and organisations.

Our partners and participating groups included South East Dance, Brighton and Hove City Council (Active for Life Team), Littlehaven and Queen Elizabeth II Schools, English Martyrs Primary, Palatine School, Herons Dale School, Varndean College, Downs View Link College, Extratime, Steyning Primary School, Sussex Downs College Dance Department and Upper Beeding Primary School.
